1. What services do you offer as a freelance chef?
I provide dining experiences, business lunches, meal prep services, and temporary kitchen support for restaurants, hotels and catering companies. Whether it’s an intimate dinner at home or a corporate event, I tailor each service to your needs.
2. In which areas of the Netherlands do you work?
I am based in the Netherlands and primarily serve clients in The Hague, Rotterdam and surroundings. For larger bookings or multi-day events, I am available to travel throughout the country.
3. Do you provide invoices suitable for company administration?
Absolutely. I provide official invoices (including VAT/BTW) that meet Dutch business accounting requirements. Payment terms can be discussed depending on the type of collaboration.
4. Do you follow HACCP and food safety standards?
Yes. I strictly follow Dutch food safety regulations (HACCP guidelines) to ensure safe preparation, transport, and service at every event.
5. Can you assist with last-minute bookings or emergency chef replacement?
Depending on availability, I can step in on short notice to support restaurants, catering companies, or corporate events in need of a professional chef.
6. Can you work inside our company kitchen or event location?
Yes. I am experienced working in professional kitchens as well as temporary event setups. I adapt quickly to new environments and comply with kitchen protocols and safety standards.
7. Can you adapt menus to match our company theme or branding?
Of course. I can design custom menus aligned with your company identity, event theme, product launch, or seasonal campaign. Presentation and food styling can also reflect your brand colors or concept.
8. What type of freelance contract do you use for corporate assignments in the Netherlands?
As a registered ZZP chef in the Netherlands, I work with different contract types depending on the duration and nature of the assignment.
For long-term collaborations (such as recurring office catering or ongoing kitchen support), I typically work with a Modelovereenkomst (Model Agreement). This agreement clearly defines the independent working relationship, responsibilities, and payment terms, ensuring compliance with Dutch tax regulations.
For one-day events or short-term assignments, I use an Overeenkomst van Opdracht (Freelance Assignment Agreement). This contract specifies the event date, scope of work, agreed fee, cancellation policy, and practical arrangements, providing clarity and protection for both parties.
Depending on the type and duration of the agreement, the hourly rate may vary. For certain projects or longer assignments, there is also the possibility to agree on a fixed daily rate instead of an hourly fee.
All assignments are carried out under my Algemene Voorwaarden (General Terms and Conditions), which outline payment terms, cancellation policies, liability, and other important conditions to ensure a professional and transparent collaboration.
